- Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
- No. Merging, splitting, rotating, converting and every other operation happens locally in your browser.
- Can I switch between tabs without re-selecting my PDF?
- Yes — drop a PDF once and switch freely between View, Pages, Convert and Metadata, or between Pages actions like Merge and Split. The same loaded document carries over to every tab.
- Can PDF Studio open password-protected PDFs?
- Not yet — encrypted PDFs are detected and rejected with a clear message across every tab, since the underlying library has no way to decrypt them locally.
- Do the individual tool pages (Merge PDF, Split PDF, ...) still work?
- Yes — every one of the 11 individual PDF tool pages still has its own dedicated URL; PDF Studio is a superset covering all of them in one place.
- Can I password-protect a PDF here?
- No. The library this app uses to edit PDFs locally can detect encryption but cannot write it, so rather than show a permanently empty tab, the feature isn't offered — every other PDF operation works normally.
